The First Team are at home on Saturday

We welcome Moulton FC to Stratford Fields

First Team

It's back to business for the First Team this weekend when we welcome Moulton to Stratford Fields for a 3pm KO.

They didn't have a game this weekend so will be keen to get out there and put on a display, with it being the last game before Christmas. Moulton are 3rd in the table so it's going to be a good test and hopefully a cracking game.

Manager Scott Reynolds had this to say about today's game

"Good afternoon all and welcome back to Stratford Fields for what is our last game before Christmas!

A tough test today against high flying Moulton, but one we all relish, particularly on home turf.

Once again, huge thanks must go to Colin and the club committee for getting the pitch prepared and ground ready after another period of flooding and damage to the playing surface in recent games.

Today we are without Liam Doyle, sadly our skippers season comes to an early end due to his professional acting career. Owen James is suspended, whilst Yousef Karim misses out through injury.

Brandon Green has been recalled to Aylesbury Utd, but Brandon Beaman has returned to us on loan again from Arlesey Town.

We also welcome to the group striker Raphael Oppong, who has recently re located to the area and boast an impressive goal scoring record with his other club Bradford Town.

Today is our 10th league game in charge, just the two defeats so far and finding ourselves currently clear of the danger zone.

The only way should be up for this squad, but we need to add goals to our game and become more consistent overall if we are to achieve this.

Enjoy the game and see you in the bar, Merry Christmas to you all and a happy new year."

The clubhouse will be open from 12:30pm and showing any Live games on the big screens.

We'd like to see as many of you there as possible, but if you're unable to go then you can follow along on the Club Twitter feed here.

Club volunteers will be there and providing updates on the key moments.

Programmes A small number of printed programmes are available for FREE on the day at the entrance booth. Please take one when entering the ground.
