A great run of 4 consecutive wins has been brought to a halt by 2 defeats this week, so everyone is keen to get out there and get a win in front of the home fans.

Manager Scott Reynolds has this to say in his programme notes

"Welcome to the penultimate home game of the 24/25 season. Following a strong run of four consecutive victories however, we came up against two playoff contenders Irchester United and champions elect Desborough Town in the last week and unfortunately narrowly lost them both.

Both games saw battling performances from Buckingham and on another day could have seen us come away with at least a point against them both. Despite leaving the field empty handed twice our youthful team is still demonstrating their skills, drive, and openness to learning on the pitch.

Assistant manager said: “ The performance against Desborough Town was one to be proud of in a strange way. We battled throughout the 90 minutes and were on top for periods of the game but just didn’t take our chances. We will certainly take the positives out of the game and is a huge building block for the 25/26 season.”

As a team we have handed debuts to more young players over the last two fixtures who have risen to the challenge and impressed us all in their abilities and professionalism to the game.

With 21 points left to play for our simple aim is to get as many points on the board as possible and return to winning ways. Today we host Cranfield United where we came away with 3 points and a clean sheet earlier in the season we are certainly looking to replicate that again.
